ASAE 2014 – ATD & Webvent Share New Ideas for Revenue and Audience Engagement

Nearly 6,000 association professionals and industry partners attended the ASAE 2014 Annual Meeting & Exposition hosted in Nashville, TN. The joint Association for Talent Development (ATD) and Webvent session, “Generate 6-Figure Non-dues Revenue through Web Content”provided attendees with a fresh perspective on content programming, webcast delivery, and revenue potential for their associations.

Over a hundred association executives attended the ASAE Learning Lab series on Monday, with interests ranging from technology, delivery, revenue generation, and content building. Webvent co-founder Rick Borry, Ph.D. and ATD marketing executive Dawn Baron presented a case study highlighting the ATD’s successful webinar/buyer’s guide program. The session shared how ATD leverages the Webvent Professional Content Network to reduce staff webcast workload, leverage sales opportunities, and deliver new media options to connect suppliers and members through content interest.

  2. Quality content yields a quantity of valuable metrics: Higher web traffic has been a key factor for increased sponsorship sales, yielding a 5x increase to a six-figure, non-dues revenue stream.
